I cannot afford uninstalling entire Office 2016 (read: huge Outlook inbox) just because some programmer screwed up the installer. So, excuse me for sharing my frustration, but the Visio 2016 installer is useless and To manually start setup64.exe installer, throws different error: Setup cannot proceed as Click-to-run installer doesn't work if you have Office 2016 installed before it. I have Office 2016 Plus 64bit installed and cannot proceed with Visio 2016 installation, as the setup.exe goes for the 32bit version.
The problem is related to the setup.exe which has a bug and assumes 32bit install automatically.

It appears that Microsoft was bundled the two I downloaded the exact same ISO that the OP mentioned from MSDN just this morning. George, I must respectfully disagree with your statement that the x86 and 圆4 installs are not packaged together.
